Through its subsidiary G.FERON-E.de CLEBSATTEL S.A. and other names, SEALOGIS is one of the leading independent French shipping agents offering recognised know-how in the management of ship capacity of all types, specially container and ro-ro ships.

 

Shipping agency activity represents an annual turnover volume of 90 million euros and an activity of 60,000 teus and 150,000 linear meters handled on the sea routes represented by the Group’s various agencies from the ports of Dunkirk, Le Havre, Rouen and Marseille Fos.

 

In a difficult environment, marked by a movement towards "self representation" started many years ago by the largest shipping companies, SEALOGIS maintains its position in this activity by offering ship owners all the expertise of its staff, as well as port services that are connected and complementary to this shipping agency (ships husbandry, customs brokerage, container fleet management and container inland transport, ...)

For the future, orientations are based on a search for partnership with certain ship owners for the creation of subsidiaries and/or joint ventures, taking charge of "front office" activities and entrusting all operational, administrative & accounts activities as well as inland logistics to SEALOGIS.

Another new area of diversificaion recently initiated is the development of NVOCC activity for specific traffics heading for targeted destinations where the Group is not present through ship owners' representations.
